SCUOTTO GRAPHICS PLUS
Our Timeline:
• The SCUOTTO GRAPHICS PLUS (SGP) company was formed. We're a
Christian owned company that provides the service of Graphic Design,
Desktop Publishing & Website Design services to our clients.
• SGP decided to create their own company website, which merrily was a
basic site that showed some project samples, contact information and
some content.
• SGP decided the basic website that was currently live on the internet at
the time wasn't really working. A total re-design of the website was a
top priority that needed to be done as soon as possible.
• SGP decided to add Website Design & Website Hosting services to the
updated website. In late 2010 added the ability for clients to use a PayPal
account or credit card to pay for services.
• SGP decided to start the process of reconstructing and developing an
updated website. Our main goal in the re-design was for it to be even
easier to navigate through; information just a click away. A lot of
thought went into the navigation part of the site along with other topics that would
translate into more user ability and enjoyment. Our intent is to create a website that
would encompass a great visualization and sound for our users to experience. We felt
to do this professionally and efficiently we needed to incorporate music into the website
and not just little sound clips.
One of the features we really like is the top navigation buttons, which allows the user
the ability at anytime to see what category they are in. But we didn't stop there; we
also placed the different categories with corresponding page links on the right side of
each page as well. With maintaining a multi-page company website it does have its
challenges but also has it's victories as well.
SCUOTTO GRAPHICS PLUS (SGP) didn't want their website to be a website merely of page after page after page but of sight and sound.
Over the years SGP has helped many different types of businesses with their own project needs. Clients like Styles by Delores who is a hair stylists or Redondo Electric Inc. and even Myra who operates Myra's Touch a place where you can get custom jewelry made. Our clients are not from one industry or field they're from many different ones. Ones like Automotive Training, Church Events, Hair Salons, Instructional Design Writers, Plumbing, Small Online Company to a Women's Organization. The projects are as different as the clients for instance we've done projects like Brochures, Stationary Packages, Microsoft® PowerPoint® and Word Custom Templates, Training Materials, Websites to Logos and etc.
Portfolios On The Website:
Another area of the website that was overhauled was the portfolios. Rather than having a page of static graphics to look at, we decided to step it up a notch or two. By changing the static page into a slideshow and having background music playing. A better experience and enjoyment for the user then just looking at a page with samples on it. But we didn't stop there, we took it to the next level and created a separate portfolio for each client of ours along with different music for each one. All separate portfolios are tied together through a control panel and a master list. Pretty cool.
