Graphic Design
It is Friday afternoon and Patty who is
the administrative assistant for
Innovative Graphics walks into Brian
the owner's office. Patty explains to him
that a recent project just came in from
the website. She tells him, the client
needs to have a certificate created as a
template for Microsoftฎ Word 2007
version. She continues to explain the
reason, the client wants to type each
persons name and then print them on
their own color printer. Brian asked her,
"When does the client need the project
done by?" Patty replies back saying, "The client needs to have the file by Thursday close of business." Brian asked her, "Are all of our graphic designers working on projects?", She replies back, "Yes." Then Brian tells here, "This is what were going to do, call your friends Judy & Dave over at SCUOTTO GRAPHICS PLUS (SGP) and outsource this project to them if they are interested.
Patty immediately calls Judy on the telephone "Judy, I have a project for you guys if you are interested." Judy replies, "What kind of project?" Patty tells her, "The client needs a custom certificate template made for Microsoftฎ Word 2007 version." Judy replies, "When did you need it done by?" Patty tells her, "If we could have it by first thing Wednesday morning that would be great." Judy replies, "Let me put you on hold and talk to Dave for just a minute.
A short pause. Judy comes back to the telephone and replies, "Dave said that we could provide you with first draft by noon on Tuesday and then a final by Wednesday morning." Patty tells her, "That would be great, I will e-mail you the details of the project in just a few minutes." Patty and Judy say goodbye and hang up.
It is Wednesday morning and Patty is checking her e-mail and notices one from Judy over at SGP. She opens the e-mail and verifies all the changes have been done since the first draft. Judy prints out the file and shows Brian the new version with all the changes been made. While Brian is looking over the print out Judy mentions that the client is going to like it. Brian agrees with Judy that the client is going to really like it. Patty e-mails Judy to let her know that everything is great and to go ahead and send over the final invoice for the project.
Patty e-mails the final certificate file to the client for their approval. Within 30 minutes Patty gets a response e-mail back from the client, saying "it looks really, really good." Also to send over the final invoice for the project.
