Timeline of Your Life

Timeline of Your Life
Think about this?
Today we will be discussing what happens when you first start to interact with someone, all your seeing them for is a brief moment in time.
Let me try to explain it this way
Example #1 – You’re at the store and you causally met James, a new store clerk. You ask him, are you new here? He replies yes, yes, I am. My family and I just move to town a few weeks ago. You ask James, how do you like our little town here? James replies, we like it very much so, it’s a lot different from where we lived previously.
Example #2 – You’re in town visiting Steve an old friend from high school for a couple of weeks. It’s a guys vacation time with a few high school friends. The guys jump into the car and head over to the store to pick up a few things. While your browsing the store you come across an old high school friend working there as a store clerk. Your so surprised to see him again, you hadn’t seen him since graduation. After graduation you went off to college for four years to learn business accounting. But Steve, didn’t go to college, he stayed and worked at many jobs in town.
As you can see in the examples, the people involved all had different timelines (life experiences). But by just having a single interacting point, your unable to see what they have gone through before that point in time.

What needs to be realized is all those people involved didn’t have the ability to see anyone else’s interacting points. Only each person could see their own individual interacting points in their life on their timeline. So, keep in mind when you interact with someone the next time. They don’t know your interacting points history (your past) and you don’t know (their past). But why not leave them with a positive interacting point rather than a negative one.
Leave You With This Thought
In our everyday busy lives, let’s try to remember, those people that might not be accepted or laughed at, because they have a stutter. Or people don’t know what to say or how to react. Let’s educate. People who stutter also have a voice and the right to be heard, just like anyone else does.
