[ REASON–FOR–CHANNEL ]
In mid-2018, I started a life long journey on a subject in my opinion doesn’t get enough attention. See below what that journey looks like.

[ MY–WHAT ]
Stuttering Awareness. I’m a Person Who Stutters (PWS) from a young age that continues today.

[ MY–HOW ]
I put my stutter with my passion of design and came up with #StutteringDesigner. Where I began to use it as a marketing strategy. To attract potential clients and showcase clients projects on different social media platforms. The concept I love and that it’s unique, but still wasn’t enough. Still needed to figure out “My Why” about this special journey.

[ MY–WHY ]
For the most part, it’s my personal form of speech therapy. Not to look as, trying something out of my comfort zone, but stretching it further and making it even stronger. I began to create video content that provides my viewers with some tips/tricks about the graphic design industry.

In addition creating content that educates them as well on the subject of Stuttering Awareness. For viewers who might not know much about it and provide them with a little insight into what many people who stutter might struggle with everyday.

[ MY–ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF 2019 ]
► In May, took part in promoting Stuttering Awareness Week with fellow stutterers from around the world.

► In July, participated in a week long live online event entitled LEARN ONE THING hosted by Free From Stutter. This event included a 10-panel group of people made up of fellow stutterers, speech pathologists & speech coaches from around the world.

► Also in July, my words were spoken on the radio about Stuttering Awareness.

► In August, took part in a 7-day Encouraging Phrase Challenge hosted by Free From Stutter. Each day created a video to share a quote/phrase to inspire someone in the stuttering community.

[ MY–GOAL ]
In September, started speaking at events about Stuttering Awareness where normally you don’t hear about it. Being an inspirational speaker and educating the audience about “What Many Stuttering People Struggle With Everyday.”

[ IN–CLOSING ]
In our everyday busy lives, let’s try to remember, those people that might not be accepted or laughed at, because they have a stutter. Or people don’t know what to say or how to react. Let’s educate. People who stutter also have a voice and the right to be heard, just like anyone else does.

A Person Who Stutters (PWS) has a very unique opportunity to teach others patience.
